Andy
Coding teacher
Andy graduated from Beijing University with a degree in Computer Science. He has worked at Joy Business Academy as a software and web developer. With over 12 years of experience, Andy is an expert in computer science and its related fields. Andy's teaching style is nimble and flexible, he is able to inspire the children's creativity.
Coding teacher
A Qinghua University graduate, Felix has degree in Computer Science. Felix has been in the computer industry for 15 years, with previous work experience at IBM China. He is well-versed in all the mainstream programming languages and very proficient in software development. Felix is patient and caring towards all his students.
Xuying
Coding teacher
Xuying is currently a professor at the University of Auckland, he received a master's and Ph.D degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Xuying has experience in IT data processing and modeling, and is familiar with Python, C++, VB, MATLAB, R and Fortran. He guides his students to utilise programming skills as a tool in learning as well as performing everyday tasks.
Felix
Chris
Coding teacher
Chris has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Unitec and a degree in Pharmacology from Otago University. He is proficient in C, C++ and Java. Chris also has experience in embedded systems, he singlehandedly completed a facial recognition software in home security systems. Chris' teaching style is meticulous and patient; he encourages his students to think critically and independently.
Kathleen
Coding teacher
Kathleen received her undergraduate degree in Computer Science at Harbin Institute of Technology, and her master's degree from China Telecommunication Technology Lab. She has worked in CSS at Unitec in New Zealand, as well as a large payment intelligence firm in Germany. Kathleen is friendly and patient, and loved by all her students.
Arris
Coding teacher
Arris has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Auckland, majoring in software development, as well as a Master of Education from Queen's University in Belfast. Arris is familiar with Java, PHP, Golang, Python, C programming languages. He has a hands-on approach to teaching, encouraging his students to learn through experience.
Liukai
Coding teacher
Liukai is a Master of Computer Science student at Auckland University. His thesis topic is Artificial Intelligence: Heuristic algorithm design, traditional computer QUBO algorithm design, compared to D-wave quantum computer. Liukai teaching style is straight-forward and efficient, he is known for his professional approach.
Judie
Coding teacher
Judie has a degree in Computer Science from Auckland University, she is proficient in Python and C programming languages. Her research primarily focuses on robotics, computer vision, and software. Judie's teaching style involves a lot of student interaction, incorporating different approaches to their learning.
Steven
Coding teacher
Steven has a degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from Auckland University and Beijing University of Technology, respectively. He was involved in the special development of the National 863 Project, now incorporated into the NTT DoCoMo system, the largest telecom operator in Japan. Steven has a humorous and efficient teaching method.
Qilu
Art teacher
​Qilu graduated from Xi'an Art Academy, majoring in graphic design. She was involved in poster design and exhibition visual design for the Beijing Olympics and Shenzhen Opera House. Qilu teaches sketching, life-drawing, colour theory/painting and visual design at AIACC. Her teaching style is casual but efficient, she is well-liked by all her students.
Yoyo
Art teacher
​Yoyo graduated from Sichuan Art Academy where she studied fashion design. She is skilled in sketch, life-drawing, oil painting, water colour, accessory and fashion design. Yoyo enjoys teaching young children, she encourages them to find their own artistic style via experimentation.
Eva
Art teacher
Eva ​graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. She has been in the Art World for more than 10 years, with previous experience in Art education in Singapore and Beijing, her students have gone to become famous artists all over the world. In 2013, she worked in art research regarding international art education and traditional Chinese art education.
Carrie
Japanese teacher
Carrie graduated from Nanjing Normal University with a degree in English. She also has an MBA in economics. Carrie also has an advanced interpretation certificate, and a TESOL qualification. She is also fluent in Japanese and Norwegian. Carrie has seven years of experience in childhood education, often incorporating educational games and plays into their learning.
Kemo
Chess teacher
Kemo graduated from Xi'an University of Technology. He came second place in a television network's Encyclopedic Knowledge competition. Kemo is highly skilled in logical mathematics, analytical reasoning, and encyclopedic knowledge. He has a humorous albeit content-dense approach to teaching.
Liuchang
Chinese teacher
Liuchang studied at the University of Houston in USA, she has a degree in psychology and Korean language. She also has a certificate in teaching Mandarin as a foreign language, and two years experience doing so. She understands the struggles of learning foreign languages and does her best to help her students overcome them.
Ben
Golf teacher
Ben has a Professional Golfer's Association (PGA) golf coach qualification. He was formally a golfer on the New Zealand Gold Team, turned professional golfer in 2010. Ben has won many golf awards, and has also trained a number of national champions. Ben has a scientific and masterful approach to teaching golf.
